ParkingFree parking is available near the event venue, often in designated fields or nearby streets. Arrive early (by 8:30) to avoid congestion. Dorsten has a train station (Dorsten Hbf) with connections to Essen, Gelsenkirchen, and Münster. From the station, it's a 15-minute walk or a short taxi ride to the race site. Check Deutsche Bahn for schedules.

Public transportFocus on building endurance and strength. Include 2-3 runs per week on trails or grass to mimic the surface. Add hill repeats and tempo runs. For the 7K, aim for a weekly volume of 30-40 km, with a long run of 10-12 km. Practice quick turns and uneven footing. If you're a beginner, start with shorter runs and gradually increase distance. For youth categories (U14/U16), training should be fun and low-volume.

First aid on courseYes, first aid stations are positioned at the start/finish area and at key points along the course. Paramedics and volunteer marshals with radios are present throughout. In case of emergency, contact a marshal or call the emergency number on your race bib. The course is marked with flags, arrows, and tape; stay on the marked route.

Deferrals to the next year are generally not permitted unless under exceptional circumstances (injury, illness with doctor’s note). Contact the organizer directly for specific policies.
