The course is a certified 10K road race starting in Dock Park, following riverside paths and crossing several bridges over the River Nith. It is mostly on footpath or pavement with a short section on public road at Kingholm Quay.
Entry includes chip timing, an on-course water stop, first aid provision, kilometre markers, marshals, car parking, toilet facilities, and a finisher medal.
An alternate route may be used if groundworks affect the primary course. No refunds are offered in that case.
