Other questions
The race is staged in Assen, the capital of the province of Drenthe in the north of the Netherlands. The exact start and finish location is confirmed by the organising club on its own event page.
Assen has its own railway station with regular connections from Groningen and Zwolle and onward links across the Netherlands, so arriving by train is straightforward. By car the town is reached from the A28 motorway. It is worth checking the club's website closer to the day for any local road closures around the course.
Late March in the northern Netherlands is changeable, with cool temperatures, a fair chance of wind and rain, and the possibility of a bright but cold morning. Dressing in layers that you can shed as you warm up, and bringing a light shower proof top, is a practical approach.
Club membership is not normally required for an open race of this kind. Entry conditions, including any age limits, are confirmed on the organiser's own page.
Open races in the Netherlands are usually happy to accept entries from runners based anywhere, provided you can be at the start on the morning. Check the entry page for anything the organiser requires from overseas entrants.
