The race is held in Dainohara Forest Park, a green space set within the city of Sendai where runners can enjoy forest air. The course is described by the organiser as varied, so runners move through different sections of the park rather than a single flat loop. Four distances are offered, from 5km to 30km, with separate start times that run from 09:00 to 10:05 and a finish at the station square. Entrants can expect a relaxed city-edge atmosphere, and nearby sights include the zelkova-lined avenues of Aoba-dori and Jozenji-dori, the Sendai Asaichi morning market, and the Zuiho-den mausoleum of Date Masamune.

Entries open on 6 November 2026 at 00:00 and close on 21 February 2027 at 23:59. The secretariat deadline is 23 February 2027, with postmarks accepted. Entry closes early if the capacity is reached during the entry period.
Collection is at the Dainohara Forest Park station square. The 30km and 21km runners collect from 08:30 to 09:30, and the 10km and 5km runners collect from 07:30 to 08:30. Entry sheets can be downloaded from the race website one week before the event, so bring your bib number and name to the venue.
Baggage storage is available except for valuables. Valuables can be stored for 500 yen each. Other items should be placed in a bag with your bib number and name on it, then put into the luggage area.
