The Cursa Muntanyes d'Artà sends runners out from a stone-built town in the northeast of Mallorca and up into the hills that surround it. Three routes are offered, a 30 km Recorregut Llarga plus 17 km and 16 km options that cover shorter versions of the same mountain ground. The surface is rough trail for most of the way, with rocky tracks, farm lanes and steady climbing before the return to the streets of Artà. A mid-December date usually means cool, clear running weather on the island. Entries and timing are managed through Elitechip, and the organiser publishes the latest details on its website.

The 30 km Recorregut Llarga is the longest option and takes in the widest loop through the hills around Artà. The 17 km Recorregut and the 16 km Recorregut Mini are shorter versions of the same mountain ground, and they suit runners who want a day in the hills without committing to the full distance. All three start and finish in the Artà area.
December on Mallorca is mild by northern European standards, with daytime temperatures often in the mid teens Celsius, though the mountains can be windy and rain is possible. Start line temperatures early in the morning can feel cool, so a throwaway layer helps.
The organiser makes the final call on any change to the route or the schedule and publishes it through Elitechip and the event page. Check those sources on the morning of the race before you travel, and follow any instructions given at the start.
