The Cross SDIS 28 takes runners to Margon, in the Eure-et-Loir department of central France, for a morning of cross-country racing organised by the departmental fire and rescue service. Five separate races cover the age groups, from a 1,873 m test for the Benjamins and Minimes girls up to a 6,219 m course for senior men, with a 4,390 m race bringing together the Vieilles Pointes, veteran men and women and the cadets. The ground is the grass and path mix typical of a French cross, and the day is built around club and team competition. The entry list already holds 602 runners, 397 men and 205 women, and all entries are taken online through ProTiming with immediate bib confirmation.
