Cross SAM Massagno is held in the fields around Vezia, in the Swiss canton of Ticino, on a cross-country course laid out over varied natural terrain. Runners cover a mix of grass, earth and woodland path that rewards technique as much as endurance, and the ground changes with the weather of the preceding days. The day is organised by SAM Massagno, with chip timing provided by MySDAM SwissTiming, and it brings competitive and club athletes together for a full morning of racing.
