The meeting takes place on Sunday 13 December 2026 in Bègles, in the Gironde department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, on the southern edge of the Bordeaux conurbation.
The 9 km is for senior men plus Masters 1 and 2, the 7 km is for senior women, and the 5 km covers junior men, minimes girls and boys, cadets, benjamins and benjamines, the cross court race and Masters 3 and over. Yes. The 8 km event is a 4 x 2 km relay, so teams of four share the distance with each runner covering roughly 2 km.
Yes, the 12 km distance is listed as Marche Nordique and Course Nature, so it is open to Nordic walkers as well as runners taking on the nature course.
This is a cross country meeting, so expect grass, mud and uneven parkland rather than road or prepared path. Cross country spikes or studded trail shoes are the usual choice in December.
