Cross Ciutat de Castelló - 7K

The programme is divided by age and gender, with Sub 8, Sub 10, Sub 12, Sub 14, Sub 16, Sub 18 and Sub 20 groups alongside the senior, under-23 and master races. Choose the group that matches your year of birth, and if you are unsure the organiser can confirm it for you before you enter.

The listing does not state the licence conditions for this edition. In Spain cross country races usually ask for a federation licence or a day licence bought with the entry, so check the entry form on hj-crono.es or ask the organiser directly.

The race is held in Castellón de la Plana in the province of Castellón, Comunidad Valenciana. The exact start area and course are published on the organiser's event page rather than on this listing, so confirm the location there before you travel.

Cross country is run over grass, earth and park paths rather than on tarmac, often with short climbs, tight turns and a lively mass start. Studded shoes or cross country spikes give much better grip than road shoes, and a steady first lap usually pays off because the pace is fast from the gun.

Cross country meetings are usually easy to watch on foot, with spectators moving around the course between laps. The listing does not publish dedicated viewing points or spectator facilities, so plan to follow the marked course and the instruction of the marshals on the day.
