The race is scheduled for Saturday 16 January 2027 in Llerona, in the municipality of les Franqueses del Vallès.
It takes place in Llerona, a village within the municipality of les Franqueses del Vallès in the Cataluña region of Spain, in the Vallès Oriental area north of Barcelona. The exact start and finish area is confirmed by the organisers closer to race day.
It is a cros, the Catalan term for cross-country, so the course is off road and the ground is a mix of grass, earth paths and parkland rather than closed tarmac roads. Cross-country or trail shoes are the usual choice.
Yes. Cross-country races are generally easy to watch because the course loops through a compact area, and the school categories make it a popular morning out for local families. Spectators should follow any instructions from marshals about staying off the course.
Cross-country races usually go ahead in wet or cold weather, but any cancellation or change of plan is decided by the organisers. Check the town council notice page on the morning of the race for the latest news.
