Set in the striking landscapes of the Crete Senesi, the event offers competitive ultramarathon, long, and short trail runs plus a non-competitive walk, all starting from the historic centre of Rapolano Terme. The courses follow hilly dirt roads, wooded paths, and ancient routes past isolated farmhouses, medieval castles, and iconic cypress trees. Every finisher receives a unique handcrafted travertine medal, and the finish line sits just steps from the town's celebrated thermal baths, ideal for post-race recovery.
Three competitive routes starting from Piazza Matteotti in the historic centre of Rapolano Terme
All routes share a relatively flat first 10 km, allowing athletes to build speed and find their rhythm
Hilly dirt roads with challenging climbs and descents that evoke the atmosphere of the Eroica cycling race
The 50K route crosses the majestic hills of the Crete Senesi, passing through Asciano, Serre di Rapolano, and the castle of San Gimignanello
A refreshment point is set in the courtyard of Modanella Castle along the 50K route
