Race Day

Bibs are collected at the registration desk on the day. Entries typically close two days before the event if not sold out, and on the day entries are usually available on a first come, first served basis.

Chip timingYes! All our events are chip timed. Your race chip will be on your race number bib which you receive at our registration desk on race day and which must be secured to your outer garment to ensure the chip works correctly.

RefundsRefunds are available up to 30 days before the event.

TransfersYes. Transfers or voucher credit are available up to 7 days before the event. Within three days of the event you can also transfer your place or switch to the virtual option, provided you give advance notice to the organiser.

DeferralsVoucher credit can be taken up to 7 days before the event, and a virtual run option is offered within three days with advance notice.

If the race is cancelledIf the event is cancelled, we will transfer you back your credits on Let's Do This for you to use on future events. If the event is postponed, we will honour your original booking and you can run the event on the new date or you can have your credits transferred back to yourself on Let's Do This.

Minimum ageAbsolutely! In accordance with Scottish Athletics guidelines, all 5k runners should be 11 or above, and all 10k runners should be above the age of 15. Please note that children remain the responsibility of their parents/guardian throughout our events. If the parent/guardian is satisfied the child/children can confidently run 5k or 10k unaccompanied they may do so, with a parent/guardian remaining onsite at all times.

DogsNo. For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted to run in the event and the course is not canicross friendly. With large numbers of runners, marshals, and members of the public on the course, running with a dog presents a risk to you, your dog, and others around you. We ask that all runners take part without pets to help ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.

HeadphonesStandard headphones are not allowed. Bone conduction headphones are permitted.

Time limitCut offs are generally 1.5 hours for the 5k and 10k and 3 hours for the half marathon.

Collecting your numberRace bibs are collected at the registration desk on the day of your event. Typically, this will open an hour and a half before your race is scheduled to commence. All race-day information is sent out in an email to participants the week of your run.
