Other questions
A handicap race allocates individual start times so that all runners finish at roughly the same time, with the fastest runners starting last. Results are based on actual finish order after factoring in the handicap.
The course is a 4 km (2.5 miles) out-and-back fell race with 410 m total ascent, climbing to the summit of Crag Fell. It is category AS (short, steep) and features checkpoints at the start, summit, and finish.
The race holds a FRA permit and UK Athletics insurance. The organiser may reduce kit requirements or modify the race at their discretion. Participants should check the organiser's website for updates.
The male record is held by Carl Bell (00:23:00 in 2016) and the female record by Sophie Likeman (00:27:16 in 2021).
