The Course Nature Isigny is a winter trail running day held in Isigny-sur-Mer, a small town in the Calvados department of Normandy close to the coast. Entrants choose between a 17 km route, named Le « Dix-Huitres » Kilomètres du Caïeu, and an 11 km route called Les Sentiers du Caramel. Both are run as course nature events, so the ground underfoot is off-road rather than asphalt, mixing country lanes, field edges and woodland paths around the town. The whole event takes place on a single Sunday, with the shorter and longer races sharing the same start area and the same morning of racing.

Course marking details are not published here. French course nature races are normally taped and marshalled at junctions, but confirm with the organiser before relying on it.
The 11 km Les Sentiers du Caramel is the shorter and more approachable of the two routes, which makes it a reasonable first step onto trails, provided you are comfortable running on uneven ground.
The organiser's page at normandiecourseapied.com carries the most recent information on dates, start times and entries. Always check it before travelling, as this listing is a calendar entry and not the official source.
