The race takes place on Sunday 16 May 2027. It is the eighth running of the event.
Race HQ is at Cookridge Village Scout Group on Pinfold Lane in Cookridge, Leeds, LS16 7SY. The race starts and finishes at the scout hall.
Every participant receives a premium CC10K running shirt.
It is a multi terrain 10 km mixing lanes, park paths, grass and woodland trail. One grass hill sits about halfway through, and parts of the course can turn muddy after poor weather.
Trail shoes help on the grass climb and in the woods, where roots cross the trail. The surface can also be muddy after rain, so grip is useful.
