Conway Stars and Strides is an inaugural 5K and 1 Mile event that sends runners through the heart of downtown Conway and Riverfront Park, with the streets of the historic riverfront district carrying the field along paved ground. The 5K is chip timed for those chasing a measured effort, while the 1 Mile is an untimed fun run that welcomes every pace. Both races start early on a Saturday morning, the 5K first at 8:00 am and the 1 Mile ten minutes later. Everyone who crosses the line collects a patriotic Stars and Strides t-shirt and a commemorative medal, and awards go to the leading runners and age division placegetters, who must be present to claim them. The event is listed for three consecutive Novembers, beginning on 9 November 2024.
