The Community Run series returns to The Ripe Market at Academy Park in Dubai for its ninth edition, with this second outing of the 2026/27 season taking place on the morning of Sunday 13 December 2026. Runners pick between 2.5km, 5km, 10km and 15km, all starting at 7:00 AM from the market grounds just off Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Sufouh. The course stays inside the Ripe Market site, so the running is sheltered, easy to follow and open to every pace from toddlers on their first strides to seasoned racers. Every finisher receives timing, a medal, a certificate and photographic coverage, and the morning wraps up with the market's own food, stalls and family atmosphere. The wider series covers six race days between October 2026 and May 2027, giving runners a regular, low-pressure fixture on the Dubai calendar.

The run starts at 7:00 AM, so aim to arrive with enough time to park, collect or check your timing chip and warm up. Arriving around 6:15 to 6:30 AM gives you a comfortable buffer.
The Ripe Market operates alongside the run, with market stalls and food vendors open for runners and spectators, so you can stay for breakfast after your finish.
Yes. The market setting is friendly for spectators, who can watch the start and finish and then browse the stalls while they wait for runners to come through.
