Yes. All participants must register on arrival at the registration area, which sits close to the start and finish within the event site. Clear signage on the day points you in the right direction. At registration you receive your race number, event t-shirt, colour powder bag and any additional purchases.
The colour powder used on the course is safe and non-toxic, made from natural ingredients based on corn starch. Sunglasses are recommended to protect your eyes, and wash stations plus eye wash stations are available on course if you need them. Do bear in mind that the powder may stain light clothing.
The course is lap based inside Singleton Park, so you choose your distance. You can complete as many laps as you like up to 5K, and there is no requirement to finish the full distance.
Participants are encouraged to stick around the finish area for photos, music and celebrations. The event is designed as a full experience rather than a race, so the atmosphere continues well after you cross the line.
