The Color Run Octobre Rose takes place in the village of Bussy-le-Grand in the Côte-d'Or on Sunday 18 October 2026, part of the nationwide Octobre Rose breast cancer awareness campaign. Participants run, jog or walk a colour run course together, with the Burgundian village and the grounds of the Château de Bussy-Rabutin providing the backdrop. It is an untimed, all-comers event rather than a race, so families, first-timers and club runners all take part side by side, usually in white kit that ends the day covered in coloured powder. The event is organised by the Union Sportive Cheminote de Venarey-les-Laumes Athlétisme, with entries handled online through HelloAsso and further details published on the club website.

It is held in Bussy-le-Grand, a village in the Côte-d'Or department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in France, the same village as the Château de Bussy-Rabutin.
A colour run is an untimed, informal run or walk in which participants are showered with coloured powder along the way. Nobody is racing for a finish time, so people of every pace take part together.
Octobre Rose is the French breast cancer awareness campaign held every October. Sports clubs across the country organise runs, walks and other events during the month to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support.
No. Colour runs are open to walkers, joggers and families as much as to regular runners, and the atmosphere is deliberately relaxed and untimed.
