The run is organised by the Les Barbeu-K association together with the Mairie de Boué, and it is held in aid of the Ligue contre le cancer.
A colour run is an untimed, fun-oriented run or walk in which participants pass through zones where coloured powder is thrown over them. Most people wear white clothing at the start so that the colours show up clearly.
Colour run powder is normally a food-grade cornstarch-based product, but it can irritate eyes and airways. If you have asthma or a sensitivity, keep your distance from the powder zones, and consider sunglasses or goggles as eye protection.
Yes. Colour runs are built around participation rather than pace, so walking, jogging and running are all welcome. The route stays within and around the village of Boué, and the organiser publishes the exact course on the HelloAsso page.
