Minimum ageFollowing Scottish Athletics guidance, 5k runners should be 11 or above and 10k runners should be above 15. Children remain the responsibility of a parent or guardian, who must stay onsite for the duration.

DogsDogs are not permitted on the course at any of the distances. Please leave them at home or with someone who is not running.

HeadphonesStandard headphones are not permitted. Bone-conduction headphones are allowed as they keep your ears open. Any runner wearing non-permitted headphones may be asked to remove them during the event.

Time limitThere is typically a cut off time of 1.5 hours to complete the 5k/10k races from when the event starts, and 3 hours for half marathons. Walking part of a 5k event is typically fine but the 10k races are mostly for running.

Collecting your numberRace bibs are collected at the registration desk on the day of your event. Typically this opens an hour and a half before your race is scheduled to commence. All race-day information is sent out in an email to participants the week of your run.
