This New Year's Day event takes runners on two anti-clockwise laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, starting from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club in Burnley. The route follows a popular path off the Pennine Bridleway and is fast and flat, with just 25 metres of elevation over the 5 kilometres. The race is well marshalled and offers prizes galore, with proceeds donated to local causes.
