Runners and walkers follow the sealed footpaths linking Clifton Beach and Palm Cove, with the start and finish set on the sand at Deadman's Gully. The 10km route travels coastal parkland and shared pathways, making for a flat and fast morning out by the sea. This is the first of two 10km races in the Clifton Beach Series, so entrants can take on one race or both. Walkers, recreational runners and competitive runners aged 14 and over all share the course, and club membership is not required to take part.
