The event follows quiet trails and coastal paths around the Chidham Peninsula, beside Chichester Harbour, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Runners pass views across the harbour toward Bosham Hoe, Itchenor, East Head and the South Downs. At low tide, parts of the course include a short foreshore crossing. The routes are relatively flat and run on firm trail, and the day is well supported with water stations, refreshments, first aid and marshals along the way. Over 1,000 runners are expected, and the event has been running for more than ten years.
