A single 5 kilometre course in Elche, in the province of Valencia, is the centrepiece of this solidarity race day, staged on Tuesday 8 December 2026. The distance can be covered either as a race or as a marcha, a walk, so trained runners and first-timers share the same route through the city. Entries, the timetable and any last-minute changes are published on the organiser's own site at ruta091.es, which is the place to confirm details before travelling.

Other questions
It is a solidarity race, a charity-minded event held in Elche in which a single 5 kilometre distance is offered as either a race or a marcha (a walk). The organising body publishes the beneficiary and the full programme on its own website, ruta091.es.
Yes. The listing describes the 5 km as a carrera or marcha, meaning the same course is open to runners and to walkers. Walking entries are usually the family-friendly option, and you should confirm the walking start wave on the organiser's site closer to the day.
As a carrera solidaria, the event raises funds for a social cause. The specific beneficiary and how the proceeds are distributed are announced by the organiser, so check ruta091.es or contact them directly for the current edition's chosen cause.
The page does not publish a weather policy. Short city races usually go ahead in rain, with cancellation reserved for severe conditions or official warnings, so follow the organiser's channels on the morning of the race for any change.
