The Carrera de Navidad Cercedilla takes place in the mountain town of Cercedilla in the Comunidad de Madrid, on trails in the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama. Runners cover 13 kilometres on paths and mountain tracks rather than roads, with the December date giving the race a festive, Christmas-season atmosphere. A set of children's races runs alongside the main event, so families can take part together. Full details, timings and entry information are published on the organiser's own website.
