The Carreira Popular dos Santiños is a local popular road race held in El Barco de Valdeorras, in the Galician province of Ourense, on Sunday 22 November 2026. It is the eighteenth edition of the event and offers a 5 kilometre run along with a shorter 2,500 metre distance, so both seasoned club runners and newcomers have a line to join. The day is a community affair typical of the Galician carreiras populares, with a start in town, roadside support from neighbours and a low-key finish. Full route details, start times and entry conditions are published by the organiser on the registration page, and runners are advised to confirm the details there before travelling.
