The Can Tho Heritage Marathon runs on flat bitumen roads through the historic western capital of the Mekong Delta, passing Ninh Kieu wharf, the Love walking bridge, Chau Van Liem school, Cai Rang floating market and Binh Thuy ancient house. Start and finish both sit at Song Hau Park in the Cai Khe area of Ninh Kieu district. The race is held at the beginning of the dry season in southern Vietnam, just after the flood waters recede, when temperatures usually sit between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius. Can Tho is known as the rice basket of Vietnam and its residents are famous for their hospitality, so runners can expect to be cheered along the route by local crowds.

You can fly to Ho Chi Minh City. A trip from there to Can Tho by bus or taxi takes about 04 hours on the expressway and National Highway 1A.
