Other questions
No, Bun Run is a social run rather than a race. There are no results, no finishing times and no prizes. The aim is to run together at a relaxed pace, enjoy the route and share the bakery stops along the way.
You choose your pace group when you purchase your ticket, so the organisers can arrange runners into groups in advance. The planned groups run at approximately 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 min/km.
At each stop you receive a baked item from an independent bakery. These are often smaller items or half pastries, so the run stays manageable for running and eating. You also receive a final bakery item at the finish.
No, the organisers are not able to cater for allergies or dietary requirements. This includes vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free and other specific requests, as the food is supplied by independent bakeries. Please plan accordingly before you book.
No, this is not a closed road event. The run takes place on pavements, paths and public spaces, so runners must stay aware of their surroundings and be respectful of members of the public at all times.
