Other questions
No, Bun Run is not a race. There are no results and no prizes. The aim is to run together at a relaxed pace, enjoy the route and stop at the bakeries along the way.
You choose your pace group when you buy your ticket. The planned groups run at approximately 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 min/km, with two teams for each of the 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 min/km groups. Choosing in advance helps the organisers arrange runners at each stop.
The meeting point is Church On The Hill in the south side of Glasgow. This is also where the run starts and finishes, so you can use it as your base before and after the run.
Unfortunately not. The food is supplied by independent bakeries and the organisers cannot cater for allergies or dietary requirements. This includes vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free or other specific requests, so please plan accordingly.
No, this is not a closed road event. The run takes place on pavements, paths and public spaces, so all runners must stay aware of their surroundings and be respectful of members of the public at all times.
