The British Masters 5 km Road Championships are held at Battersea Park in London, using a flat, traffic-free circular tarmac route inside the park. Race headquarters sit at the Bandstand, and the field is split across two races so the course stays uncongested and more entrants can be accommodated, with a limit of 250 runners in each race. Medals go to the first three finishers in every five-year age category from 35 to 100+, and first-claim UKA clubs contest a team competition scored by three runners. Changing and shower facilities are available at the Millennium Arena Stadium, while refreshments and the medal presentation take place at the Pear Tree cafe.
