A traffic free 10 km multi terrain route across sand, track, road and field awaits runners at Merthyr Mawr on 13 December 2026. The course threads through sand dunes with hills and flat stretches, and a mulled wine stop lifts spirits before the finish. Chip timing, a two hour cut off and online results keep race day organised, and race packs with numbers and timing chips are posted out in late November. Finishers collect a Christmas pudding memento, and the day raises money for local charities.
