The Blaauwbek Marathon takes place in Blauwestad on Saturday 27 February 2027. Participants can run distances between 5 and 42 kilometers, including a full marathon, half marathon, 10 km, and 5 km.

On the day

Public transportBuses leave from De Rietkraag in Oostwold at 11:15 for the half marathon and at 9:45 for the full marathon. The ride takes about 20 minutes. Please be on time for the buses.

Before you enter

Collecting your numberRace numbers can be picked up on the Friday before the race from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Aquilo canteen, Bovenburen 110, Winschoten, and on race day from 10:00 (from 09:00 for the marathon) at De Rietkraag in Oostwold.

Other questions

There is no joint start for walkers. The 20 km walk can start between 10:00 and 11:00, and the 10 km walk between 13:30 and 14:00. Once you have your route you can begin.

Yes. Youth races over 500m, 1000m and 2000m start at 11:30. Youth who have entered the 5 km start at 15:30.
