The Bingley Rock up n' Run is a pop up evening trail event staged by Its Grim Up North Running at 5 Rise Locks on Beck Lane in Bingley. Runners choose between two measured trail distances of 5 km and 10 km, both held under UKA rules and licensed by the Trail Running Association. No online booking is needed in advance, so entrants can simply turn up on the evening and pay on the day or online. The ground underfoot is trail rather than road, and the relaxed setting is built around a sociable evening out rather than a big-city race. Everyone who finishes picks up a jumble medal and a sweetie bag, and hot food plus beer or soft drinks are served on site. The venue sits about a ten minute walk from Bingley train station and local bus stops, with free parking on the surrounding streets.
