The Binder Cross Country Race takes place on the hills and forest paths around Șura lui Binder, in the BinderBubi area of Mediaș, on a mixture of dirt tracks, woodland trails and open hillside. The tenth edition is built around the theme of the Friendship Edition and deliberately steps away from competition: there is no chip timing, no results list and no podium, and runners of all levels share the same day and the same gathering point. Participants choose between 4 km, 10 km and 21 km routes, all of them untimed and free to enter, with the registration form used mainly to estimate numbers so the organisers can prepare the aid stations. The event is organised by the Asociația de Turism și Ecologie Dianthus, with support from the Mediaș Municipality and Hotel BinderBubi Mediaș.
