Other questions
Everything happens at Flat Creek Crossing Ranch, 339 Ulrich Rd, Johnson City, TX 78636, which sits next to Pedernales Falls State Park. The start and finish line and the main aid station are in the same spot at the ranch.
Pacers are not allowed in the competitive 100K Championship. In the open 100K, a pacer may join for the second 50K loop, but they must check in with the race director before they begin pacing.
Any participant who drops early or quits must let the race director know at the start and finish line so the field can be accounted for.
Drop bags can be handed in at the start and finish line during packet pickup, and they are driven out to the Lone Star aid station at mile 15. The Overlook and Country Club stations do not accept drop bags.
A hydration carrying system is required for every distance. The minimum is 16 ounces for the 15K and 24 to 32 ounces for the 50K and 100K. Aid stations carry water, electrolytes, ice, pickle juice, snacks and hot and cold foods.
