Overview

The Biegamy razem w dniu Niepodległości event is held in Hrubieszów in the Lubelskie region of eastern Poland on Sunday 15 November 2026. Its name refers to Polish Independence Day, which is marked in mid-November, and the event offers a 5 kilometre run as its distance. The listing gives no detail on the route, surface or start point, so these should be confirmed with the organiser before race day.

Good to know

On the day

ParkingParking arrangements are not listed, so confirm the nearest car parks and any restrictions with the organiser. Mid-November mornings can be cold and dark, so plan to arrive with time to spare and allow for slow traffic near the start area. If parking is limited, consider arriving on foot or by taxi if you are staying nearby, and keep your car keys and some warm clothes accessible.

Public transportHrubieszów is in the Lubelskie region of eastern Poland, so the nearest major airport is most likely Lublin Airport in Świdnik, which is a considerable drive away. Rail and bus connections to Hrubieszów are limited, so check timetables for routes from Lublin or Zamość well in advance, especially for a Sunday event. If you plan to travel by car or taxi, allow extra time for the journey, since it is not a short trip from the main airports.

ToiletsFacilities for this event have not been specified, so ask the organiser what is provided. Plan for the worst: bring a warm layer to leave in a bag or with a friend, as mid-November in eastern Poland can be cold and windy. Check whether a bag drop or cloakroom is available, and if not, keep valuables to a minimum and make sure you can get to your belongings after the finish.

First aid on courseMedical provision has not been detailed in the listing, so ask the organiser whether first aid, an ambulance or medical staff will be present at the start, along the course and at the finish. Make sure you know the emergency number in Poland, which is 112, and note the location of the event area in case you need to direct help. If you have any health conditions, carry relevant information and tell a race official or medical team before the start.

Course markingCourse marking has not been described, so confirm with the organiser how the route will be signposted, whether with cones, marshals or markings on the road. On race day, follow the marshals and stewards' instructions, and keep to the marked route for accurate timing and safety. If you become separated from the route, stop, stay visible and call the organiser or emergency services if needed, and do not attempt to take a shortcut that could put you at risk.

Before you enter

TransfersThe transfer and deferral policy is not stated in the event information, so contact the organiser directly before you pay or accept any terms. Ask whether places can be transferred to another person, whether a name change is allowed, and whether there is any refund or deferral option. Keep your confirmation email or receipt in case you need to prove your entry.

Collecting your numberArrive early enough to find the registration or number collection point, which is usually near the start area. Bring photo ID and your confirmation details, and have your race number ready for pinning. Allow extra time at busy periods, and if the organiser offers pre-race collection, use it to avoid queues on the morning of the event.
