What you get

PrizesAfter crossing the finish line, participants usually receive a medal and refreshments. Results are posted online shortly after. Prizes are typically awarded to top finishers overall and in age groups for the 5K and 10K, and possibly for the relay. Nordic walking may have its own classification. Check the official rules for specific prize details.

On the day

ParkingPolice is a town near Szczecin. Parking near the start/finish may be limited, so arrive early or use public transport. Buses and trains run regularly from Szczecin to Police, though Sunday schedules may be reduced. Check local operators like ZDiTM Szczecin for bus routes and PKP for train times. Carpooling is also a good option.

Public transportBuild up gradually to 10K if you are new. A typical plan includes 3–4 runs per week: easy runs, one tempo or interval session, and a longer run. Include hill work if the course has slopes. Practice running in cold weather with layered clothing. Taper in the final week. Since the event is in December, train in similar conditions and test hydration and fueling strategies.

ToiletsRoad races in Poland typically provide basic facilities: toilets, an unsupervised bag drop, and sometimes changing areas. Given the December date, indoor changing may be limited. Come dressed in your running gear or change in your car. Bring a bag for warm clothes. Check the event map when published for exact locations.

First aid on courseTypical road races have medical teams, ambulances, and first aid at the start/finish and along the course. If you feel unwell, stop and seek help from the nearest volunteer or medical station. The emergency number in Poland is 112. The course is marked with signs and volunteers. December weather can cause slippery patches, so take care and carry a phone and ID.
