Other questions
It suits all abilities. Participants are grouped by ability, but runners are recommended to be able to run 5km non-stop. The event is described as a great option for those new to trail running as well as veterans, and first-time trail runners are welcome.
The meeting point is Berkhamsted Football Club on Broadwater in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 2.
For single day events costing less than £50, you can transfer your entry to another Run the Wild event taking place within 6 months of the original event if you notify them more than 6 weeks before the date. Within 6 weeks of the event, all monies paid are lost. Optional refund protection with XCover can be added at checkout for £2.40.
The run takes place on open trails around Berkhamsted and finishes back at the football club, so friends and family are welcome to see runners away and to meet them at the finish around 11am. The guided format means the group stays together, so the start and finish area is the easiest place to watch from.
The event is organised by Run the Wild, the UK's first dedicated trail running adventure holiday company, whose motto is exploring places, not running races.
