Other questions
Expect a low-key trail race atmosphere organised by Yellow Belly Ultras. Arrive with enough time for check-in, number collection and the race briefing. The 10K uses bridle paths, gravel tracks, woodland trails and farm tracks in the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB, with roughly 500 ft of climbing and a 2.5-hour cut-off. November conditions can be muddy, leafy and cool, so plan for a mixed-terrain run rather than a road 10K. Every finisher can look forward to a Beer and Buff at the finish.
Every Beer and Buff Trail Race finishes with a Beer and Buff, which is a big part of the event's friendly atmosphere. If you do not drink alcohol, ask Yellow Belly Ultras in advance whether a non-alcoholic alternative is available. Also check whether there are vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options if the 'Buff' includes food. Bring ID if required, and remember you still need to drive or arrange transport after the race if you plan to have a beer.
