Distance
Terrain
Běchovice - Praha is a 10 km road race run every September from the eastern edge of Prague into the heart of the city. The route begins at the 13th kilometre marker on Českobrodská in Běchovice and rolls gently westwards along closed roads towards the finish on Hartigova in Žižkov, with the notorious Hrdlorezy climb waiting in the closing three kilometres. Runners share the road with the Czech Road Championship field, so elite athletes and club runners line up on the same course. Now into its 130th unbroken edition and recognised with a World Athletics Heritage Plaque, it is Europe's oldest continuously organised road race.

Other questions
Yes. The roads along the 10 km route from Běchovice to Žižkov are closed to traffic for the duration of the race, and the course is fully marshalled.
The famous Hrdlorezy hill comes about three kilometres from the finish and runs roughly a kilometre uphill. It is the hardest part of the course and the reason the race rewards strength and determination rather than pure flat speed.
Yes. A 10 km Relay runs on the same day, starting at 11:50, about half an hour after the individual race. Team entry costs 131 USD.
It can be. The first half of the course is fast and gently rolling, but the climb in the last three kilometres makes it a tougher finish than a flat city 10 km, so it suits runners who have done some hill training.
