Overview

The Bath Skyline Races take runners through the beautiful landscapes surrounding Bath, combining solid stone paths, woodland trails and open grass meadows with some puddles and muddy sections. The routes are largely flat with a couple of little rises and falls, all comprehensively marked and well marshalled. Set at the University of Bath, the event offers 5km and 10km distances plus a 500m kids' race, along with canicross options, and is recognised as one of the Top 50 races in the country by Runners World.

Terrain

There is mix of solid stone paths, woodland trails and open grass meadows, expect some puddles and muddy sections. The routes are largely flat, with only a couple of little rises and falls. All our courses are very comprehensively marked and well marshalled so you can relax and enjoy your run.

Race day: Sunday 15th November 2026. Registration and number collection from 09:30, safety briefing at 09:30 for canicross, first race starts at 10:00.

Before you enter

RefundsRace entries are non-refundable, including in the event of cancellation. Refund protection is available at checkout via XCover (optional).

TransfersEntries are non-transferable under normal circumstances, but in the event of cancellation a free transfer to a friend is permitted within 7 days of the postponement notice.

DeferralsIf you cannot make the backup date, you may choose any other Relish event within 15 months.

If the race is cancelledShould the event not be able to go ahead for any reason (bad weather, local lockdown, national restrictions, etc.), no refund will be issued. Participants will automatically roll over to a contingency date/race, or can have a free transfer to a friend within 7 days, or can choose any other event within 15 months.

Bad weatherWe reserve the right to change or shorten routes in the event of bad weather or circumstances beyond our control to enable the event to go ahead on the original day.

Minimum ageParticipants must be at least 12 years old on race day; the minimum age for the 10km is 14 and for the 5km is 12.

DogsYes, there are Canicross 5km and 10km races. Dogs must be at least 12 months old, wear a suitable harness, and be attached via a bungee line. See the Canicross Waiver for full rules.
