Bangsaen42 Chonburi Marathon follows a mixed-surface route along the coastline of Bangsaen on Thailand's eastern seaboard, starting and finishing in front of the Bangsaen Heritage Hotel. The course runs through the Bangsaen roundabout onto Sukhumvit Road, turns onto Ang Sila Road, crosses the Route 84 bridge, and threads through the Ang Sila fishing community past the Nezha shrine before looping around Khao Sam Muk and Laem Tan. Runners then cover the closing kilometres beside the long white sand of Bangsaen Beach. The event is held in November, when the weather is cooler and more pleasant for long-distance running, and it carries AIMS certification together with a World Athletics Elite Label. Hydration and nutrition stations, medical aid, clear route markings, bag drop, toilets and showers, plus a post-race meal, form the support package on race day.

Other questions
November falls in Thailand's cooler, more pleasant season, which is why the race is scheduled then. Runners can expect warm mornings, sea breezes along the coast and conditions far kinder than the hot season for long-distance running.
Bangsaen is a popular beach destination roughly 100 km southeast of Bangkok, normally reached by road in about one and a half to two hours by private car, minivan or bus from the capital's eastern bus terminals. Many runners combine the race with time in Bangkok or nearby Pattaya.
The Bangsaen Heritage Hotel hosts both the race pack collection and the start and finish, making it the most convenient base. A wide choice of beachfront and town hotels sits along Bangsaen Sai 1 and the surrounding streets.
Yes. Pacers are part of the race organisation and are listed among the inclusions for entrants, so groups will be running to set finishing times.
AIMS recognition means the course has been measured and verified to international marathon standards, which supports the accuracy of your finishing time. The event also holds a World Athletics Elite Label, reflecting the standard of organisation and elite field.
