The start, finish and race pack collection are all in Bang Saen itself, so staying in the Bang Saen Ville and Bangsaen Beach area keeps everything within walking distance. Chon Buri city and Pattaya are alternatives if you have your own transport.

The half marathon is run entirely on asphalt roads along the Bang Saen coastline. It is a flat to gently rolling loop that passes the beach, the seafront roads of the town and Khao Sam Muk hill before returning along Bangsaen Rd.1 to the finish.

Yes. The surface is paved and non-technical, the terrain is largely flat, and the course is well marked with drink and nutrition stations plus medical support, which makes it a manageable first half marathon as well as a fast course for experienced runners.

December falls in Thailand's cooler, drier season, with Bang Saen typically seeing warm daytime temperatures, lower humidity than the middle of the year and little rain. It is one of the more comfortable months of the year for a coastal half marathon.
