Backyard Costa Brava - 7K

The race starts at a designated time (likely 9:00 AM). Runners complete a 7 km loop every hour on the hour. You must cross the start line at the top of each hour; if you finish after the hour, you are eliminated. The last runner standing wins.

You can use the remaining time to rest, eat, or prepare for the next loop. You must be at the start line ready to go at the top of the next hour. Timing mats and officials will record your starts.

Mandatory kit typically includes a headlamp with spare batteries, a mobile phone, a water bottle or hydration pack, and a whistle. Check the final race instructions for any additional requirements like a rain jacket or thermal blanket.

The course is on trails near Vall-llobrega with likely mixed surfaces (dirt, gravel, possibly some asphalt). Wear trail running shoes with good grip. Layered clothing is advised as coastal weather can change; a windproof jacket is useful.
