The Shettleston 10K is a 10 km road race held in Shettleston on the east side of Glasgow, and it opens the Babcock 10K Series for 2027. The series marks its tenth anniversary and is made up of three 10 km road races in May 2027, held in Shettleston, Dumbarton and Helensburgh. Runners can enter this race alone or sign up for the full series, and live chip timing is provided across all three events. Entries for individual races are £27 for affiliated runners and £30 for non-affiliated runners, with a £1 charity contribution added once per runner on top of the booking fee. Series pricing is also offered, with early bird rates of £49 for affiliated runners and £58 for non-affiliated runners during the December offer. The Shettleston race takes place on Sunday 9 May 2027, while the Dumbarton race on 20 May and the Helensburgh race on 27 May are both held on Thursday evenings.
