Avebury8 Nine - 9 Miles

This approximately 9-mile trail race starts and finishes at Avebury, with race headquarters at the Avebury Sports & Social Club. The route runs north through Yatesbury and back via Avebury High Street, covering chalk tracks, rutted sections, footpaths, and short tarmac stretches. Runners traverse the neolithic Windmill Hill before descending towards the village, with the course often wet and muddy in typical English weather. The event is chip timed, licensed by the ARC, and all profits go to Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance.
