The Athens Company Run returns on Sunday 11 October 2026 with 5 km and 10 km road races plus a 2.5 km untimed Sports Walk, staged at the National Athletic Training Centre of the Olympic Village. Start and finish sit in the open-air area behind the centre's swimming pool, where the race secretariat also operates, and the course loops through the surrounding grounds of the Olympic Village sports complex on paved paths. A day earlier, on Saturday 10 October, the programme opens with two aquathlon formats that pair swimming in the centre's pool with running on the same paths. The races are part of the National Workplace Sports Games, a gathering that brings more than 1,500 employees from companies and organisations across Greece to the Olympic Village.

What to bring
Working Athlete Health Card (Κάρτα Υγείας Αθλούμενου Εργαζόμενου) - mandatory for participation in any company-sport event or activity, per General Secretariat of Sports decision ΓΓΑ/24371
Numbered swimming cap provided by the organiser must be worn during the swim
Race number must be worn on the run using the belt provided by the organiser
Torso (chest and stomach) must be covered during the run – a shirt must be worn if not wearing a triathlon/one-piece suit
Athletes are marked on the arm and leg with their race number before the start
Place all your belongings in the numbered basket in the transition area and keep the transition area clean

The races are organised as part of the National Workplace Sports Games and are aimed at employees of companies, organisations and public bodies from all over Greece, taking part either individually or as company teams.
Yes. The 2.5 km Sports Walk is open to anyone who wants to take part without racing, and it is not timed.
Both are in the open-air area behind the swimming pool of the National Athletic Training Centre of the Olympic Village, which is also where the race secretariat operates.
The secretariat opens at 07:30 on Sunday 11 October and at 07:45 on Saturday 10 October.
The 5K and 10K are competitive road races, while the 2.5K Sports Walk is explicitly run without timing.
