An Res Hellys is a multi terrain road and trail run based in Helston, Cornwall. The route sets off from the Old Cattle Market and follows a single loop that takes runners through the National Trust Penrose Estate before returning to the same finish point. The race forms part of the Cornwall Grand Prix Road Racing Series and uses ankle chip timing, with placings decided on gun to chip time and awards for the leading men and women, age category winners and the top male and female teams. The first 400 entries are guaranteed an event medal. Race HQ has toilets and the Lakeside Café for food and drink, but no changing rooms or showers, and parking is limited so most runners use the free Fairground Car Park about 400 m away.
