This monthly 5k and 10k takes place in Alexandra Park in the east end of Glasgow, on a 2.5k circuit that winds through leafy park paths with open views along the way. Both distances start together at 10:00, with 5k runners completing two laps of the circuit and 10k runners completing four. The route is fully marked and marshalled throughout, so runners can settle into their pace without worrying about navigation. The morning has a friendly, welcoming feel, with good support around the course, chip timing, hydration stations, kilometre markers and a bespoke Up and Running medal and goody bag at the finish.
